I don't know who to vote for yet. It might have to be Sofa, because I think she's got the most children and I'm sure you get better with more experience.

Best Parent?
I think that's it on the parenting front? Possibly.

I have voted for Ruby because I liked the cake she made.

Re: Best Parent?
I am almost certainly the worst as when she was about three days old she was lying on my stomach asleep and I was playing xbox with the controller behind her back.

Re: Best Parent?
I think the competition for worst parent will be more interesting. I have a) sent my eldest daughter to school in half term, and b) sent her to her first day of secondary school a day early.
I think Brighty might get my vote, as she has managed to rear one to almost-adulthood without either of them having had any sort of custodial sentence (to my knowledge).

I can't vote for Brightside as she named her child after a TMT poster.

Re: Best Parent?
One of my children has the same name as a poster here - does that get me any points? Oh, and the other one has the same name as one of Sofa's kids. Double points. Plus the lovely picture, of course.

Re: Best Parent?
I did like the picture a lot. But it wasn't a cake that looked like it was going to be awful and then managed to somehow become amazing. That cake was an emotional journey

You all get to vote again, anyway, because I wiped the poll adding Luther.

Beacuse we did cats before we did music, so cats don't count anymore.

Re: Best Parent?
I think I had two votes then as well I can't actually vote anyway, it's all too much for me. In my head I'm voting for all parents in the world though; of kids and cats.

Re: Best Parent?
Lucretia scrapped votes and as Ruby hadn't used my vote wisely in the time she had it I opted for Vegas the second time.

Re: Best Parent?
I voted for Brighty because if I didn't then she'd cut me. Also, because we've all been typing in jest about the horrors Ella is imminently about to bring into her life for YEARS, such as boyfriends, and a report card that says 'Who is this child?', and boyfriends, and a desire to become a page 3 girl, and boyfriends, and a best friend called Lambrini who smells suspiciously of fags and carries condoms. And also boyfriends. YEARS. And Ella just laughs in our faces/keyboards and continues to do none of these things, and makes fabulously scathing comments to her mother about the importance of JLS and such things.

It's a straight neck and neck between you and Brightside.
Note: I can be bribed.

Re: Best Parent?
I'm actually the worst parent. I sent Elliot to his very first day at school ever, a day early. The head teacher wasn't the least bit surprised by my actions. She's encountered me before as Megan went to the same school and had already put me down as 'one of those mothers'.
Also when I received a letter home from Megan's secondary school to tell me she'd won an award I rang her up on her way home from school and asked her if there was anything she needed to share with me, that she'd better tell me herself and own up, as I'd received a letter home from school. She panicked, almost cried, stuttered and told me that there was nothing to tell, that there was nothing I ought to know about. She walked in the front door looking very sorry for herself and then hit me when she'd read the note and realised she'd done nothing wrong. I wanted confessions of smoking behind the bike sheds, of being caught snogging on the playing field, about back chatting teachers... anything juicy, but she failed me *sigh*.
