Working Days until Christmas

I have eight, then twelve (12) days off. TWELVE. I think I am looking forward to this more than Christmas. Apart from the fact I should use one of them to clean the oven.

I have two working days to go.

Are your days off calender days or working days?

I have 7 1/2 days left of work and then I have... 11 1/2 days off.

My days off are actual days. I am going to search the tundra for tupperware. If I haven't got a geocaching tshirt for Christmas, I will weep.

Oh. We're going out for our team christmas lunch today. I'd forgotten about that. I remember looking at the menu and being entirely uninspired by anything on there so that will be nice. I shall try not to get drunk as I have to do an afternoons work afterwards. (Well, 1 1/2 hours)

We have a Christmas Fan Heater. Well, it isn't really, but the man I have a crush on went and found it for me and I love him. A little bit more than before.

I have 8.5 working days left, then 5 days off, back in for 30th, and then four days off. I'm quite excited about this, although BR is workiing for quite a lot of it (but he is off 25th, 26th 27th, which is nice).

This week I have 3 lunches and two after-work drinks which is, for a lightweight like me, quite daunting.

My TCL SS is sent. My TMT SCD sweepstake prize is purchased, and about 60% of my christmas present shopping is done. Husbo is off mon-fri this week though, so I hand the shopping baton over to him.

My tree is up but has only 6 borbals on it!

I am sans borbals - I have been walking into all the shops in town, whimpering "borbals?" and shuffling out again.

You need a garden centre, Moje. I went into the local one at lunch and one couldn't move for borbals.

I shall send the shopper to the garden centre. I think there is one somewhere!

I have another 3.5 days this week and two days next week. Finish up at 5pm Tuesday and am not back until 9am on Monday 4th January. I have never had this amount of time off over Christmas and am absolutely stupidly excited about it

I have pound shop borbals from last year but haven't put them or the tree up yet and won't be doing so until Friday. Too much crap to do this week to care, and plus I had a very Christmassy weekend so I don't feel I'm depriving myself.

I now have three working days left till Christmas though, and that is nice. I have a meeting to go to on Thursday which will be grim and is stopping me from getting too excited, but after that it will be festivity central in my home - I'm having a very wee Christmas party on Friday and will be decking the halls in preparation during the day.

Borbals. Possibly the best internet thing ever.

My last day in the office was supposed to be this Friday. Then I was supposed to be off work until the 4th Jan. That was the plan.

Then I had the demanding Dutch all over me yesterday and now I've agreed to come in for two days next week. When I was supposed to be on holiday. I shouldn't moan really as I have a week off before the new year. But still.[/moan]

I don't know how I didn't notice your brother's Christmas hat to match his Christmas jumper before now, Leap. Fair play to him. And that pretty Christmas tree could have done with some borbal earrings.

I was thinking more two bottles of wine, two boxes of chocolate, a bottle of vodka and a cheese savoury sandwich and a bag of crisps.

I just had a cheese ploughmans sandwich. I don't know what a cheese savoury sandwich is.
