It's CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!

No yet it isn't. However, it is beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!

Apparently the South East is supposedly getting wintery showers this week and proper snow next week.

I'm more excited about this than any adult should actually be, esecially as there's every chance we'll get snowed in for at least a day, if not more, and I have to get to work.

I had a look at my home town on't BBC weather earlier and they had fog and it's -3. I really must remember to buy some thermals for going home next week. I'm hoping it snows over Christmas, especially as my mum lives really high up and that area seems to have it's own wee microclimate.

I bought a teeny tiny tree from Paperchase yesterday and a big fuck-off star to go on top and it looks fucking ridiculous. I love it!! Starting to feel Christmassy now, especially after watching Songs of Praise earlier with carols from the Royal Albert Hall.

God. There was a load of loud carol type noise going on outside here earlier. Being in a basement flat I have no idea if it was actual people or some giant Santa twat with a loud cd player. In fact this happens every year and I still don't know what it is, after 9 years.

Probably the Rotary Club, Vegas. We have them each year.

I have sorted my TMT Secret Santa, so apart from having to collect a wibbling, dribbling Simon from the arse end of Cumbria on Friday (his Christmas do) and visit family, that's most of Christmas fettled. Go Christmas!

That's really pretty Verm, I like it. The only thing you'd have to think about is whether the amber matches her colouring. If she has dark hair, then it would be perfect, but if she's blonde, then it perhaps may not work so well.

If you like it, though, and think that she'll like it too, you should get it.

She loves Amber and it definitely suits her. Over the past few years I've got her an amber necklace, amber bracelet, amber watch so this will help complete the set!

She also likes opal and they do an opal version of that but I thought the amber was prettier. I have ordered it so hopefully it will be delivered before Christmas.

Cool. I prefer amber over opal, but my opinion is irrelevent, as I don't wear jewellry apart from my wedding ring, really.
